What You'll Be Doing

* Writing great code: You'll design, develop, and manage software that's clean, efficient, and makes a real impact.
* Shaping the future: Help define architecture and governance processes to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely.
* Leading technically: Offer your expertise to guide project teams and build reusable frameworks that make development easier for everyone.
* Solving problems: When production issues come up, you'll jump in and figure out the best solutions quickly.
* Analyzing & improving: Get to know existing programs and components, and find ways to make them better.
* Collaborating across teams: Work with BA, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth rollouts in test and production environments.
* Taking ownership: You'll be the driver of continuous improvements in both quality and security, not just in your team but across the company.

What We're Looking For

* Java and Spring expert: You've got solid programming experience (minimum 5 years) in Java, JSF, Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud frameworks.
* API guru: You know REST APIs inside and out and can build stable, secure endpoints.
* Cloud and Docker experience: You're familiar with cloud platforms and Docker, essential for modern development.
* Automation enthusiast: You're comfortable with tools like Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and PostgreSQL, ensuring your code gets deployed efficiently.
* Strong design skills: You're good at creating clear documentation and designing technical solutions.
* Independent and team-focused: You're self-motivated but know when to collaborate to get the best results.
* Experienced developer: You've completed your education in software development, whether through university or a technical program.
* Detail-oriented thinker: You're logical, structured, and always pay attention to the finer details.
* Bilingual is a plus: You have strong English skills, and if you're fluent in German, that's a big bonus!

We guarantee a competitive salary dependent on your professional and personal qualifications, starting at EUR 45.811,22 gross per year for this position, in accordance with the respective collective agreement. Salary requests above this amount will be considered depending on your previous experience and qualifications.
