Key responsibilities / You will get to:
* Life subject-matter expert, and responsible end-to-end execution of deliverables needed to ensure success of the life projects
* Provide consultative support on Life Actuarial projects
* Work with client teams, bearing responsibility for specific tasks, the quality of your deliverables and ensuring project milestones are reached
* Manage communications and project timeline
* Contribute to business development and client pitches under the guidance of an Engagement Manager
Help increase Allianz Consulting expertise within our strategic areas of development
* Contribute to internal projects within Allianz Consulting, including internal knowledge sharing and team event

Key requirements / What we hope you bring
* University degree or equivalent experience. Professional Actuary Certification or a willingness to study towards UK IFoA/German DAV actuarial certification
* Life insurance background
* Minimum 3 years of experience in life actuarial / operations / Life IT migration preferably with consulting
* Have been involved in the creation of the life strategy, product development and served as liaison between business, technology, and design teams
* Lead/Co-Lead cross-functional initiatives on life products and manage components and relationships with Distribution, Operations, Actuarial, IT, and other key stakeholder to drive customer and business outcomes
* Your experience in project management, change management, business transformation or initiative development and rollout
* Your mastery of working and communicating with a broad range of audiences and seniority levels
* An affinity for solving problems and a pronounced capacity for analytical thinking to help you organize and prioritize your tasks
* Your enthusiasm for working in a diverse and international team
* An excellent command of German and English that you will use while preparing and delivering presentations and reports is mandatory
* Proficiency in Excel required; SQL and one programming language (Python/R/VBA) would be beneficial; database management experience would be a plus.
* Familiarity with migration activities (e.g. data mapping, testing) and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements is a plus;
* Demonstrate expert knowledge of AI frameworks, leverage AI tools in everyday tasks, and consult clients on AI adoption for successful business transformation.
Desired, non-mandatory requirements for the position:

* Experience in Actuarial Pricing, Risk Capital Calculation, Technical Product Controlling, or Reinsurance Management or have Valuation-related Actuarial experience would be an advantage
