Your Responsibilities:

* Analyze business requirements and design and develop the related software architecture and implementation plan for business wide Digital initiatives
* Lead the research and evaluation of third party technologies including AI, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities
* Contribute to the development of software and data delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components across teams (multiple teams)
* Defining the architecture and standards for a seamless data flow and integrated business logic between various applications
* Apply and review code against related software development standards, guidelines, design practices, cyber security requirements and legal instructions to design reliable and compliant products
* Work on multiple projects simultaneously and supervise and guide software developers
* Drive and support troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues
* Provide leadership, technology guidance and mentor others throughout their domain to connect people throughout the digital team and across multiple departments

Your Profile:

* Bachelor or Master (is a plus) degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related fields
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on full-stack development (Java, Spring Boot, Python, ReactJS)
* Very strong experience in designing, developing and deploying software applications at scale using highly available architecture patterns on public cloud providers like Amazon, Azure or Google Cloud
* Experience with large scale distributed platforms, event-driven architecture, microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes
* Experience with modern data storage engines for timeseries and relational data in distributed environments like Clickhouse and Postgres/MySQL
* Affinity to design software on a high quality, performance and maintainability level
* Knowledge regarding software development and related processes (Agile)
* Bonus points for experience in data analytics with Python using frameworks and tools like Pandas, Matplotlib, Jupyter Notebook; familiarity with backend and/or front-end frameworks and libraries beyond Spring Boot and ReactJS; and contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal projects
* A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)
* This role requires 50% presence at the headquarters in Jenbach, Austria
